The TempGuard is one of a family of
devices known as CUMULATIVE THERMAL EXPOSURE MONITORS (CTEM). We
have developed this new technology to help insure quality of
perishable products through out the shipping cycle.
TempGuard is a simple device that provides a way of determining if a
perishable product has been exposed to temperatures outside of a
specific range for a significant amount of time.
TempGuard is a time/temp monitor that records the
Heat a product is
exposed to - not just the temperature. The TempGuard communicates
thermal history by use of a simple mechanical display, which can be
easily read through a clear window in the device housing. CTEMs are
manufactured to mimic the thermal characteristics of the product
being monitored.Features
. Disposable
. Once activated TempGuard can not be reset - thus the true
heat
exposure is revealed.
. Can be stored and transported at room temperature prior to use
. Resistant to ionizing radiation
. Able to operate at dry ice temperatures and below.
. Infinite shelf life
. Non-electronic
TempGuard can be customized to fit any shipping container and
thermal profile. |

Benefits:
. Easy To Use
. Low cost
. Customer Confidence
When a customer receives a package a day or two late (airline
strikes, bad weather, a error in delivery etc.). The question is,
does the customer want to risk accepting a product that may not be
good? Currently, the answer is to reject the package and call for a
replacement.
With TempGuard integrated into the packaging the customer could
determine at a glance that the product was still good.
. Control
TempGuard could also help the store manager know when expensive
products have gone bad due to poor handling/ storage practices.
. Public Relations/ Sales
TempGuard instills confidence in the quality of your products.
